The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the many functions of modern business in the changing cannabis industry. The course shows the student how these functions exist in the changing industry and the type of decisions which must be made within the environment. This course focuses on the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), how medical cannabis affects the body, and how it is used to treat illnesses. We will decode the messages and trace the system-level connections found in the ECS from a neuroscience perspective. As this topic is taught in less than two-thirds of US medical schools, students completing this course will know more about the endocannabinoid system and how its activity relates to overall human wellness than most US medical doctors.
